This was my third time in Arraial D'ajuda and every time I tried going to Cafe da Santa it was closed. Well my luck, this time it was a rainy evening and me and my friend were looking for a place to eat and we saw that the door was open. We walk in and it's kind of like a fancy bakery, the first room has a big display of delicious deserts and a coffee bar with lots of tables. The second room there was a person singing live and playing the piano and also more tables. I wanted to sit out back, there are trees and a Bahia breeze that makes it that much more enjoyable. This place is amazing! I ordered an eggplant pita sandwich which was one of the most delicious things I ate in Bahia. My friend ordered a prescuitto sandwich that was also amazing, even though I don't eat meat I tried a bite of it and fell in love! There is some kind of secret ingredient in there that made me want to keep eating. We both ordered beers but the have a large selection of juices, coffees and wines. I can't wait to go back to Arraial D'ajuda, I'm planning on going next year again and will definitely stop by Cafe da Santa for sure. If you get a chance to go, sit outside in the back, it's more private (if you're on a date) or even if you're just in the mood to enjoy nature a little bit. I can't wait to try every single item on their menu. Absolutely amazing restaurant.
