Ristorante davvero buono. Prezzi più che onesti. Piatti ben decorati. Abbiamo pranzato o cenato tutti i giorni. Si spende meno che nel centro di Pipa e con una qualità mille volte superiore.
This restaurant is located in the Bupitanga Hotel, but is open to the public, so even if you’re not staying here, I recommend you dine here (it was very good!).
“Ibá pitanga” means “soft or thin-skinned fruit” in Tupi-Guarani (the language of the indigenous natives of Brazil). It’s the name of a fruit found in South America known as the Surinam cherry or Brazilian cherry.

For a main course, I had shrimp served on pumpkin purée with deep-fried leeks, cashews and torched curd cheese; my wife had octopus lacquered with oyster sauce served on puréed sweet potato seasoned with wasabi (which were fantastic).
Dessert was a decadent chocolate cake that was to die for.
They also have a very good wine menu (at very good prices). Service was excellent (thank you to our waitress Carol!).
